Place seems obscure, but once inside the calm atmosphere permeates. Food is superb, delicious in every bite especially their steak and sashimi. My family managed to finish all of it. Service is top notch, with the waiters being attentive to our every request and food was delivered quickly. Perfect to go for special occasions.

I had a really enjoyable dining experience at Fukui Omakase in Katipunan. We ordered a variety of dishes: salmon sashimi, zaru soba, salmon maki, pork gyoza, the Grand Fukui Roll, ebi tempura, and chicken teriyaki. Everything was well-prepared and fresh. The ebi tempura stood out — the shrimp were large and meaty, not the small ones you sometimes get elsewhere. The Grand Fukui Roll was also a highlight, rich in flavor and presentation. At the time of our visit, the main dining room still had a slight varnish smell due to some ongoing repairs. The front host was thoughtful enough to seat us at the adjacent William Watson Steak Room, which shares the same ownership, so we could dine more comfortably. Great service, good food, and a pleasant atmosphere overall.

Fukui was amazing! We got this place as a recommendation from a family member, but it exceeded all expectations. We had an assortment of everything, from sashimi to special rolls and cooked dishes. The highlights for us were the sukiyaki, the salmon nigiri, the chuttoro and gindara and the wagyu chahan. Also, the service was brilliant. Ivy was graciously attentive, without ever hovering, and the others that tended to us were very helpful as well.

Celebrated my husband’s birthday last month there. The service was superb, they even sang and gave us a free celebratory cake as per my request. They are very attentive, before you know that tou need something they will already hand it to you. Foods were fresh and refreshing. Love their dessert also. The atmosphere was fine, feels just like home. More power to all of you.

Fukui Omakase never disappoints! Everything we ordered was beautifully prepared and delicious. The flaming maki was both a visual treat and so flavorful — definitely a must-try! The giant tempura was perfectly crisp and light, while the ribeye steak was tender, juicy, and cooked just right. The service was warm and attentive, and the ambiance made the whole dining experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone who loves quality Japanese food with a touch of flair! I enjoyed the food, although the service could use some improvement. The main dish (steak) was served before the salad, which felt a bit disorganized. Still, the flavors made up for it, and I’d consider coming back if the service improves.

The afternoon was scorching hot. We had reservations for 3. You can cross-order the dishes at the adjacent William Watson Steak Room (and vice versa). The Cha Soba was a refreshing balm to MM's hot and humid weather. The seaweed salad was tangy, and so was the Agedashi Tofu, which was generously blanketed by Bonito shavings. The Gyoza was filling. I liked the Bara Chirashi better; not too heavy on the belly. The Uni Squid Ink Pasta my daughter ordered was good, but it was too filling for me. The mix Tempura was excellent. The batter was light but crisp - not crispy (although I like a crispy & flaky batter too). The Matcha Mousse Cake and Triple Chocolate Mousse cakes had a restrained and subtle chocolate flavor which I found refreshing. My wife wasn't fond of the Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream she ordered - it had an umami flavor which she found strange. I liked the ice cream's umami taste though. The staff were all courteous, informative, and accommodating. For holidays they recommend booking a table a week in advance.

I gotta say, I had the best time at this branch. the moment we walked in, we felt like we were being welcomed into a private, exclusive club but without any pretension. It’s perfect for family reunion, celebrating anniversary, birthday or any other events. Thank you, Miss Ivy and the team.
